La licence de sciences politiques est une formation pluridisciplinaire et généraliste qui permet de comprendre le fonctionnement des sociétés et des institutions à travers des disciplines variées comme la sociologie, l’histoire, le droit, la philosophie et les relations internationales. Elle vise à analyser les phénomènes de pouvoir à différents niveaux (local, national, international). Très théorique, cette licence demande beaucoup de travail personnel et développe chez les étudiants des compétences en raisonnement, analyse et esprit de synthèse. Elle s’adresse à ceux qui s’intéressent aux sciences sociales, sont curieux du monde et ont des aptitudes en lecture, écriture et argumentation orale. Après trois ans de formation, les diplômés s’orientent généralement vers des masters spécialisés dans les sciences humaines, le journalisme, la communication ou d’autres domaines connexes.
